These views are given by pharmacist and legal expert Noor Muhammad Mahar in a conference on Pak-china pharma vision 2030.
All types of medicine’s import should be banned. Present health minister’s husband working as business ambassador in India should be immediately called back. More than eighteen local companies are preparing Hepatitis medicines. That’s why two Indian and one American companies import should be stopped. Herbal export city industrial zones should be established in all major cities like Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar. If Govt. will focus on progress of pharma industry as China did, Pakistan can become number one exporter of pharmaceuticals.
Govt should establish provincial drug regulatory authority instead of DRAP. As in India, there must be district level small pharma industry for pharmacist.
