4-Years B.Sc pharmacy work for the pharmacist to be a qualified pharmacist in UK; Mr Abdus Salam Pharmacist, Edinburgh,UK
Pharmaceutical Review (www.pharmarev.com). Hello to my Pharmacy colleagues; I am M.Phil (In pharmacy) qualified coupled with MBA from Pakistani Universities and currently living in UK here I would like to share my UK based experimental views that as Pakistani qualified pharmacist UK employer don’t consider our B.Pharmacy/ M.Phil degrees for the post of pharmacy dispenser for which here only UK based dispensing experience or just diploma in pharmacy dispensing is desirable.
But as Pakistani/Overseas pharmacist they don’t give u a job of minimum wages in pharmacy. The reason is that their standard of diploma is much more specifically focus on professional practice in pharmacy or we can say that it is more standardized towards the professional productivities from an individual. Here still is 4-Years B.Sc In pharmacy in their academic frame work for the pharmacist to be a qualified pharmacist.
So I don’t understand our Pakistani’s pharmacists ‘s brothers perception that what are their vision from Six pharmacy course frame work instead of working on the evaluation of the current Pharm-D course frame. I don’t know that after introducing of Six years B.Pharmacy degree what anticipated goals would help to improve the standard of pharmacy profession.
Therefore brothers I would suggest you people to work on the review of pharmacy course contents instead of working on course duration as professional when you are going to set objective/goal from an activity you would have to consider following aspects.
a: Recourses (Capital, Time, HR etc).
b: Potential for the anticipated outcomes of the specific Activity.
c: How would these outcomes be achieved in most efficient way(cost effective etc).
Therefore I would request our people to pleas not waste the resources in irrational manner as it is most critical era for survival of nations over the world map so pleas for God sake open your eyes otherwise we will loose our directions. I apologize for my emotional accent but pls I feel pain for my national assets.
Kind Regards; Mr Abdus Salam Pharmacist, Edinburgh,UK

Pakistan Pharmacy Council has violated the confederation of Pakistan and working illegally without the representation of Baluchistan; Syed Umer Jan, University of Baluchistan
Pharmaceutical Review (www.pharmarev.com). Pakistan Pharmacy Council is working illegally without the representation of Baluchistan. This practice is illegal and against the confederation of Pakistan. Thus; Mr. Naziruddin Ehsan has disregarded the official representation Baluchistan. He wants to impose the individual of his own interest rather than the interest of profession. Mr. Naziruddin is running the Pharmacy council since the last two and a half years without a single member from Baluchistan. He is not suppose to draft, design and implement the regulations in such an illegal context. Syed Umer Jan, Department of Pharmacy, University of Balochistan, Sariab Road Quetta P.C. 87300 Pakistan. Biased criteria of Pakistan Pharmacy Council to recognized/ inspect the pharmaceutical institutions
Pharmaceutical Review (www.pharmarev.com). Dr. Zain-ul-Hasnain Chief Patron Pharmacist Graduate Association (PGA) said that the Sindh province, especially the Karachi is ignored by Mr. Naziruddin Ehsan, Secretary Central Pharmacy Council, Tamoor Chamber, Blue Area, Islamabad; . The inspections of pharmaceutical institutions are not conducted through the standard criteria but based on personal and individual interests; for example the deans or teachers of pharmacy institutions are invited to inspect their competitor institutions. Thus; Mr. Naziruddin secretary Pakistan Pharmacy Council, intentionally create circumstances to plugin the agenda of his own interest. Therefore; the Government of Pakistan is hereby requested to stop this practice and select competent and unbiased members for inspection. Recently the approval of some institutions with minimum professional and academic facilities are the examples of this discrimination (Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi).
