Staff Reporter (Staff Reporter). Mr. Shahbaz Hussain Rana, Civil Judge Lahore has issued the stay order against the International Pharmacy Conference & Exhibition 2016. He has directed the Ex-Office bearer of Pakistan Pharmacist Association (PPA) to maintain the status-Quo regarding holding of above said conference vide order Dated 13.04.2016 which is still in field and next date of hearing is 10.05.2016.
Thus, current illegally occupants of PPA are advised to make arrangements to hold conference in respect of said judicial order. Otherwise the organizing committee of IPCE-2016 would be liable to the consequence of violation of order dated 13.04.2016 regarding maintenance of STATUS-QUO order passed by Civil Judge Mr. Shahbaz Hassan Rana.
A similar rite petition was filed by Dr. Taha Nazir in 2013 in Islamabad High Court. That was not appropriately handled for judicial proceeding by Honorable Justice Riaz Sheikh, Islamabad High Court, Rawalpindi. That conference was also illegally organized by professional group of PPA after the expiry of their legitimated electoral tenure.
Pharmacist Alliance, PPA welcome the decision of court regarding the illegally organized IPCE-2016. Dr. Taha Nazir president Pharmacist Alliance, PPA said their group has already decided to enforce and honor the decision of court. If anyone tries to violate the stay order, should be arrested and charged by local police. It’s an explicit contempt of court. Thus, the conference is now done. No one is allowed to disobey the ruling of an honorable sitting judge. No one is allowed to commit another violation after a violation. We have to enforce the rule of Law.
