Staff Reporter (Pharmaceutical Review). Prof. Dr. Riffat Ul Zaman passed away because of cardiac health complication.

He belongs to the Marali Wala village Distt. Gujranwala.  Dr. Riffat was a legend of pharmacy profession. He was awarded the Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology from The Islamia University, Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Dr. Riffat-uz-Zaman was highly skilled academician, competent scientist and skilled pharmacist. He always worked, strived and contributed for profession. He was even became superfluous professional in his own institution, because he always raised voice against irregularities. So, may Allah his soul rest in peace and Jannah.

The pharmacist community is grieved because of this sudden death. Prof. Dr. Bashir Ahmad Ex Dean and professor of pharmacology, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Prof. Dr. Fazal e Subhan, Professor of Pharmacology, University of Pashawar, Peshawar, Prof. Dr. Rafeeq Alam Khan Ex Professor of Pharmacology, Karachi University, Karachi, Muhammad Shamoon Ch, secretary Punjab Pharmacy Council, Mushtaq Ch. president Pakistan Pharmacist Association (PPA), Abdul Aleem President Pharmacist Federation, Ihsan Allah Khan GS PPA KPK, Dr. Taha Nazir Editor in Chief of Pharmaceutical Review, Asif Farooq Awan and Dr. Saeed Ur Rasheed have condoled the death and express their grief to the family of Dr. Riffat Ul Zaman.
