Dr. Nazir Nazir has more than fifteen year’s professional, academic and research experience. His expertise are related to the microbiology, pharmacology, and clinical pharmacy along with exceptional knowledge of biological techniques. He has taught to to graduation (Pharm-D) and post-graduaiton (M. Phil., Ph.D.) students in different institutions. He used to work with different institutions at different positions i.e. Associate Dean, Associate Professor, scientific executive and scientific head. He has a strong ability to quickly absorb and implement new pedagogical techniques. His other professional expertise includes; drug resistance, genetic analysis, immunology, serology and epidemiology. Moreover; he has worked in other pharmacy disciplines of pharmaceutical manufacturing (syrup, infusion, drops, tablets), marketing and community/ retail practice.
Dr. Taha also has international personal and professional exposure. He use to live/ work in Saudi Arabia, Kenia, Canada, Zambia, Afghanistan and india. Hence; he is a versatile personality with a passion to contribute to pharmacy profession. He has most current scientific skills and enough professional potential to bring some positive changes in the health system.
Dr. Taha Nazir was awarded Ph.D in Microbiology by the Quid -I-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He was awarded the degrees of M. Phil (Pharmacology) session 1998-2000, by Agriculture University Faisalabad and Bachelor of Pharmacy session 1991-95 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He has several research articles published in prestigious international pharmaceutical journals and wrote three books; titled Applied Pharmacotherapy (2008); Clinical and Pharmaceutical Management of Diseases (2009); and Manual of Experimental Work of Pharmacology & Therapeutics, (2007) published by leading Pakistani publishers. Moreover; he is part of different pharmaceutical and professional organizations and prestigious research journals.
Currently, Dr. Taha Nazir is working as Assistant Professor with Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Sargodha. He is also entrepreneur the Drug Discovery & Technology Development Inc.
