The physicians have recommended the wrong medications and take the responsibility of their safety and efficacy. The massive causalities do not make sense if the treatment qualified standard protocols; clinical services, pharmaceutical care, patient counseling, pharmacovigilance and therapeutical drug monitoring. Especially; the rationalization of pharmacotherapy is most important segment of health care system; that has not been properly followed.

In addition of that; drugs are not like burger or sandwich. They need special handling and recommendation by experts. The patients were under the custody of appointed doctors. They did not give then proper professional services and care. Huge revenue of government of Pakistan is allocated for salaries and other benefits of the physicians Appointed in PIC, Lahore. Moreover; society has given considerable prestige and respect to these doctors to do their job honestly. But; unluckily they failed to give their due attention and profession care. Therefore; they should be arrested soon as possible. The clinical data should be investigated by other than physicians; biochemist, pharmacists, forensic scientists etc to dig out the real cause of these deaths.
