Pharmaceutical Review (Staff Reporter) An application No.: 389/635-23 dated July 14, 2023, was submitted in the office of the Chief Information Commissioner, 1st Floor, National Arcade, A4 Plaza, F-8 Markaz Islamabad, Capital Territory, Pakistan (051-9261013-4 | appeals@rti.gov.pk) under RTI Act, 2013 to Obtain the Copy Letter/ Notification of Investigation, Composition and Finding of Inquiry Committee and Ground for Disposing the Complaints Diary No. 4990/22, 5140/22, 4830/22, 5034/22 and 5376/22 under Your Letter No. GS/SO(Univ-II)11-11/2018-138 Dated June 8, 2023.

Reference to Governor Punjab letter No. GS/SO(Univ-II)11-11/2018-138 dated June 8, 2023; disposal of the complaints diary No. 4990/22, 5140/22, 4830/22, 5034/22 and 5376/22 it was requested that an innocent applicant has filed the application No.: 385/633-23 dated June 18, 2023 to Governor (Pb.) Pakistan to obtain the following copy letter/ notification under RTI Act, 2013 and Article 19-A of the Constitution of Pakistan,

  1. Copy letter/ Notification of the chancellor/ Governor Punjab to investigate the matter.
  2. Composition of the Inquiry Committee notified to explore the facts.
  3. The reply/ response of the culprit Dr. Sajid Bashir filed in your esteemed office regarding above allegation.
  4. Finding of the inquiry committee regarding above four allegations.
  5. Ground for Disposing the Complaints Diary No. 4990/22, 5140/22, 4830/22, 5034/22; and 5376/22 notified under your letter No. GS/SO(Univ-II)11-11/2018-138 dated June 8, 2023.

The innocent applicant reserved the right under Article 19-A of the Constitution of Pakistan and Right to Information (RTI) Act 2013 to obtain information. Therefore, it was requested to grant him the aboe information/ document under Article 19-A and RTI Act 2013. Additionally, the aforesaid alleged culprit Dr. Sajid Bashir has a long terrible history of corruption; the cases/ information already submitted to different authorities. Even though, the alleged culprit Dr. Sajid Bashir is currently working as principal pharmacy with Lords College of Pharmacy, 53-M, Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Kot Lakhpat, Lahore Pakistan. That confirm the poor performance of Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, Islamabad, Pakistan. That is also a big question mark upon the educational substandard and pharmaceutical academia in country.
