Pharmaceutical Review (www.pharmareview.wordpress.com). The life saving and noble profession of Pharmacy is extremely miserable condition in Pakistan. They don’t have proper service structure, minimum official salary package and clinical role in health sector of Pakistan. Thus recently one the rising star; young and ambitions pharmacist Mr. Raja Khawar Nawaz has resigned the “Ali Medical Pharmacy”, Islamabad, Pakistan owned by A.Q. Javed (Chief Pharmacist PIMS, Islamabad) because of low salary package, rude behavior and overwhelming work load. While; quitting from this job Mr. Khawar said “Thank God I resigned from Ali Medical Pharmacy, they were paying under Matric Computer operator more than Pharmcist and that was my reason to resigned as protest. Pharmacist works more than other staff that’s I say our biggest enemy is our senior Pharmacist who speaks lies in seminars conferences. No matter how hard and honestly you worked for them they never even bother to regard you or praise you I worked even sometimes for 11 hours normally 7 hours official duty but mostly 9 to 10 hours daily.”
It should be very shameful for Pakistan Pharmacist Association. They are responsible to secure the jobs and assure the proper working environment for pharmacist in Pakistan. But; unluckily, never even a single person belong to this organization has contact him yet. Most of the time, honest stalk holders resign if they are unable to protect their members or fail to comply with the responsibilities described. But; unluckily the fake, demy and dishonest command of Pakistan Pharmacist Association still claim the biggest representative of pharmacist community.
One of his friend of Mr. Khawer posted message on face book as “Dear khawar I think you should not stuck with this as life goes on and we face many faces and experiences in life”. While another pharmacist wrote “Dear Khawer! You have taken right decision but it had hurted my feeling. You know who is responsible of this situation? A specific group of pharmacists; that is driving and misusing Pakistan Pharmacist Association since last 26 years. I can give you the names of those 15 pharmacists spoiling our profession”.
