Pharmaceutical Review (Staff Reporter). The Pakistan Pharmacists Association (PPA) is the national professional body of pharmacists engaged in various facets of the profession of pharmacy. The PPA is committed to promote the highest professional and ethical standards of pharmacy, focus the image of pharmacist as competent healthcare, professionals, sensitize the community, Government and others on vital professional issues and support pharmaceutical education and sciences in all aspects.
There were Terms of Reference (TOR) designed between groups of pharmacists within Pakistan Pharmacist Association (PPA) to assure free and fair election. Mushtaq Chaudhary, respected leader of pharmacy professionals and Chairman Reformer Pharmacists has disclosed this document as under.

The respected leader of pharmacy professionals in Pakistan and President of Pakistan Pharmacist Association (PPA-Reformer Pharmacists) Mushtaq Chaudhary disseminate message last week. He stated that since last 5 years they are trying to make consensus for making one PPA. That may represent the problems of the community to the government and the associated bodies on behalf of the community. But unluckily, it is painful that the struggle is failed. He distributes the Terms of Reference (TOR) that is disclosed with the intentions to hold free and fair elections. He felt sorry that the TOR is still not implemented and enforced.
So, he promises with Pharmacist community that the elections will be fair; otherwise, no elections will be held. This is his sincere promise to thousands of pharmacists all over the country. He made the TOR document to be available online publicly to mitigate all possible ambiguities. He is very explicit, clear and open regarding his strategy, opinion and future road map.

That is working in all major pharmaceutical and healthcare areas. Pharmacy professionals are committed to promote the clinical and pharmaceutical patients care at highest possible standard. Therefore, PPA is working to maintain standards, improve skills and scientific competencies.
Currently there are three main groups of pharmacist community 1). Grand Pharmacist Alliance, 2). Reformer Pharmacists and 3). Professional Group working and contributing in Pakistan. These three groups have established their own PPA with three independent executive councils and three presidents, as under,
The PPA is divided into parts because of the evil ego of 7 senior pharmacist of professional group. There bad intention of staying in power, controlling pharmacist community and deceiving government authorities are major hurdle to maintain and establish unity. These culprits use scientific events (conference) as potential tool of corruption and illegally occupied PPA house. They announced their own internal election of Professional Group as the election of PPA. This blunder is continued since last ≤30 years.

The quality control in public and private sector universities improve the over quality of education and professional skills in local and international economy. That also gives confidence and certainty to educational system and help to maintained high quality standards. Additionally, these become important component to deliver and contribute to human resources. the faculty position description that covers the scholarly areas should include the experience, academic credentials, and particular disciplinary background. That should be compatible with international standards that appeal to a broad applicant pool. For this purpose, we have to avoid the conditions that deter the highly qualified applicants around the world. Avoid the “replacement” of faculty member who has left or retired from the department. The precision about excellence and superlatives i.e., exceptional, “distinguished should be linked to teaching records, research scholarship and professional commitments. The appointment of teaching faculty in public sector universities is an important component of academia. The appointment of professor on behalf of the academically engineered foreign report should be discouraged at all possible level. The unacceptable, illegitimate and non-supportive external evaluation to a serious corruption that is happened in aforesaid university should be handled seriously. The responsible culprits should be investigated and treated as per legal requirements and academic jurisprudence.
Nondisclosure of some immaterial facts would recess the right to information, but it is further determined that the fundamental privilege has also been hurt by some deceptive practices. Where a beneficial amount of facts are actively concealed and fraudulently defected in title. The active concealment of information with the intention of doing performing it or doing any such act fitted to deceive. This practice also hurt the fundamental constitutional privilege, when any conducive amount of information actively concealed. The silence of facts would not be constituted in a wrongful manner unless the defendant is under an obligation to talk and conceal the facts of a particular process or recruitment of faculty member in teaching institution. Therefore, in compliance with the Governor Punjab’s order number No.GS(Univ-I)11-5/2017-25 dated October 28, 2021; date of Hearing: 16.09.2021 the syndicate of the University of Sargodha in its 1/2022 meeting held on 27.09.2022 constituted a committee to investigate the illegal recruitment process of appointment of Dr. Sajid Bashir as Professor of Pharmacy (BS-21). The notification No. SU/Admin(HR) 6464-74 dated November 7, 2022 issued successfully. A third party unbiased examination of facts is necessary to establish the rule of law and enforce proper recruitment standards. For this purpose, the governor house, provincial education department and local accountability authorities have to play key role to rectify and correct the system and establish the rule of law in public sector universities in Pakistan.
